The Jericho flower, also called Chajarat Mariam ( Anastatica hierochuntica ), is a medicinal plant renowned for its benefits on fertility, the menstrual cycle and female intimate well-being.
It is used in preparations, infusions, or rituals to support women in their intimate wellness routine. Originating in the deserts of the Middle East and North Africa, this plant is nicknamed the "resurrection plant" because it revives upon contact with water after being completely dried out. It is associated with fertility, rebirth, and prosperity, particularly in Arab and African traditions.
She is known as:
- fertility stimulant, thus promoting conception, especially when used as an infusion before or during the ovulation period;
- Menstrual cycle regulator, relieving menstrual pain; postpartum support: traditionally used to aid recovery after childbirth
- Prevention of urinary tract infections: thanks to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties
This is not a substitute for medication.
Do not use if pregnant without medical advice.
Clinical evidence is still limited, so its use remains primarily traditional.
